Our live performance showcases our students hard work and talents. This portion of our education program builds students’ sense of accomplishment, professionalism and poise, and preparation skills. UMC offers legit, fun, inspiring music education to all ages.

Gavin ROCKS! The #UMCRedWing drummer played with T Gavin ROCKS! The #UMCRedWing drummer played with The Burnside Drifters band, at Big Turn Music Fest this year. Be sure to catch him solo at one of our Live Performance Exhibitions where he is also showcasing his guitar skills! Gavin said, "Big Turn Music Fest is a really unique event and I was happy to have the opportunity to perform as a drummer. It was super fun to play in front of an audience. Thanks to everyone who came out to watch myself and the other Universal Music Center musicians!" 🤘🤘🤘

Her bright eyes and infectious smile capture her audience, but wow when you hear her beautiful voice...🤩🤩🤩!!! She said of her Big Turn Music Fest experience, "Big Turn was a ton of fun but also nerve racking. I've never performed at Big Turn so it was a experience that I won't forget. Kieran Krentz is a phenomenal pianist and dynamic Kieran Krentz is a phenomenal pianist and dynamic performer who never fails to induce wide eyes and wows from his audience. This year at Big Turn Music Fest he played both solo and as an accompanist to his fiancee, Maddie. 🥰 Kieran told us about his Big Turn experience, "This performance was especially nice for me because it was my first real show after coming home from Basic Training. I was able to reinstate my skills as a performer and practice my professionalism. This was my newest step forward into the music industry as mistakes were made and the performers came together and made a plan. We communicated ensuring everyone knew what was going to happen and what songs had to be cut to keep show schedule. It was really neat and a cool experience of working on the fly and in a high stress environment. Not only that, but everyone performed wonderfully. Definitely a valuable experience and core memory for me."
